Bathe it Away!

This is an incredibly easy recipe for a relaxing, detoxing bath. Ready for a spa day? or maybe a spa hour? Yes, I know how hard it is to take a day for yourself so take whatever you can and recharge.

(Fairly) Healthy Apple Crisp

Even when its still warm in October here, we want to have the sights and smells of fall. Hence an Apple Crisp. It’s a staple for fall desserts and it’s an easy to dessert to create in a more healthy way. Here is my version:

Apple Crisp Recipe

Filling
4 cups chopped apples (can be peeled but I left the peels on for mine)
3 drops Young Living Citrus Fresh Vitality Essential Oil Blend

Stir the Essential Oil Blend into the apples. It will keep them from browning too. Pour apple mixture into a baking dish. Butter the dish if you would like to but its not necessary.

Topping
1 cup Young Living Einkorn Granola
1/2 cup Almond Meal
1/2 cup Oats
1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
1/3 Coconut Oil
4 Drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential Oil

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add the Essential Oil and blend well. Pour the mixture over the top of the apples. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Enjoy!

DIY Vapor Rub

This is such an easy recipe! And a great way to get the benefits of this respiratory system support without all the chemicals. Most store bought vapor rubs have harsh chemicals such as camphor, petrolatum, and turpentine (yes, you read that right!). Stick with the all-natural version and you can feel good about putting this on your kids. We will be keeping this on hand for cold and flu season.
