(Fairly) Healthy Apple Crisp

Even when its still warm in October here, we want to have the sights and smells of fall. Hence an Apple Crisp. It’s a staple for fall desserts and it’s an easy to dessert to create in a more healthy way. Here is my version:

Apple Crisp Recipe

Filling
4 cups chopped apples (can be peeled but I left the peels on for mine)
3 drops Young Living Citrus Fresh Vitality Essential Oil Blend

Stir the Essential Oil Blend into the apples. It will keep them from browning too. Pour apple mixture into a baking dish. Butter the dish if you would like to but its not necessary.

Topping
1 cup Young Living Einkorn Granola
1/2 cup Almond Meal
1/2 cup Oats
1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
1/3 Coconut Oil
4 Drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential Oil

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add the Essential Oil and blend well. Pour the mixture over the top of the apples. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
